EVP, Gaming & New Business Ventures, Major League Baseball
Kenny Gersh serves as Executive Vice President, Gaming and New Business Ventures for Major League Baseball. In his role, Gersh oversees all business aspects of sports betting, data distribution and fantasy games on behalf of the league. Previously, Gersh served as Executive Vice President, Business, for MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), LP, the interactive media company of Major League Baseball, responsible for MLBAM's licensing, distribution and gaming business and all other business development activities.
Prior to the spinoff of BAMTech from MLBAM and its subsequent purchase by The Walt Disney Company, Gersh was responsible for the business activities of BAMTech, which provided video distribution services for dozens of clients including the NHL, PGA TOUR, HBO, ESPN, WWE, Sony Playstation Vue and The Blaze. Gersh also serves on the board of Stadium, a first of its kind live streaming network partnership involving multiple leagues and media properties. Gersh joined MLBAM in September 2006 from CBS Digital Media, operator of CBS's online, interactive and wireless initiatives, where he was Vice President of Business Development prior to which he served as Vice President and General Counsel of SportsLine.com until its acquisition by CBS in December 2004. Gersh also served as an associate with Greenberg Traurig in Miami and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston University and a JD from the University of Southern California Law Center.
