Steve Budin

CEO, Pick Nation

Born into this business as the son of a legendary New York bookmaker, Budin turned professional shortly after graduating high school when he worked for Caesar's Palace running high-roller gambling excursions to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. But it was in 1994 he changed the gambling world forever when he opened the world's first international offshore sportsbook in Panama, moving it eventually to Costa Rica.

In 2002, Budin created Pick Nation, taking the sports pick industry to the internet with a transparent approach to selling that was foreign to an industry long dominated by notorious telephone touts and shady boiler room operators.

Budin authored the best-selling book, Bets, Drugs and Rock & Roll about his experiences in the gambling industry and served as DeMarco's co-host on the most-watched NFL pregame show on Fox Sports.com for seven years.

Over the past 15 years Budin has become a go-to source for all issues related to sports gambling for media outlets worldwide.
